About us

Our fruit farm (IT-BIO-013) is located in a peaceful setting amid the apple orchards of the Tschars sunny hill and offers amazing views of the Vinschgau mountains. The limited number of apartments guarantees a familiar atmosphere. The location and facilities of our farm are ideal for families with children and small pets. The small village centre and the railway station of the Vinschgau train are a few walking minutes away.
A bit above our home lies the „Schnalswaal“, a popular hiking trail which leads to the Juval castle, where Reinhold Messner resides. The Monastery Estate is also an ideal starting point for hiking and biking tours. There are several winter sports areas in the surroundings as well as swimming pools, thermal baths and the botanical gardens of the spa town Meran. Rafting facilities, climbing gardens, rope courses and many biking trails with bike rentals are within easy reach.

Vinschgau Valley

The alpine areas and the Buschenschänke (small traditional wine taverns) offer the opportunity to taste local traditional fare and to buy fresh farm produce. Even culture doesn't come up short: castles and museums take you back to history. Several events feature local tradtions and ancient customs, such as bread or Krapfen baking, are revived. During winter time many small and larger Christmas markets are surely an adventure. For the delight of music lovers classical, traditional and modern music concerts are held on a regular basis.
